Dr. Hu’s research interest is utilizing biomass, photo/bio-catalysts, and cell factories to design and fabricate renewable and sustainable bioproducts and systems, via bioinspired routes, for Energy, Environmental, and Biomedical application. The group’s current research focuses on biomass and biorefinery research including the generation of biofuel, green H2, biomaterial and biochemical.
