Our Research

Biofuel

Our research focuses on developing an efficient and sustainable process for the production of high-quality drop-in fuels from renewable biomass sources. To achieve this, we combine biomass pretreatment with the use of cell factories to produce a specific product of interest. By leveraging the capabilities of cell factories and breaking down the complex structure of biomass through pretreatment, we hope to create a more efficient and environmentally friendly process for biofuel production. This approach has the potential to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and mitigate the environmental impacts.
